repairs could months, and in vallejo.. cal trans crews had to temporarily shut the connector ramp down from i- 80 to highway 29.. to clean up a mudslide. the drains were clogged when the recent storm saturated the soil on slideand flooding the the ramp was reopened after a couple of hours. crews in the east bay working to fix a giant sink- hole. the collapse happened mountain drive. take a look just how 30 feet wide, 15 feet deep... and getting deeper. scene -- and plan on working from getting worse. homeowners in the area kron4 talked to one long- time resident, whose house is just steps away zone. >> it is terrible. if i have to go to sleep is a sleeping pill and to my earplugs. i do not know when i'm going to get any peace especially with christmas coming. >>pam: the main concern -- disconnected and broken pipes.. which could the sinkhole to fill-up with right now some lines have been already been diverted with temporary fixes... but more work remains.stay with kron-4 as we continue to track this new storm front updates also available on kron4.com as well as our facebook and twi

it down on sunday and cal trans has been rushing to make repairs. crews have one lane briefly open right now. they do that to let traffic through and then have to close it back down. another round of openings is scheduled for noon and then four. there is no word yet on when the roadway will reopen. >>> a water main break prompted city officials to turn off water service to nearly 400 homes. it happened early yesterday morning causing waist deep flooding in several areas. the water main break also created a sink hole that trapped a city bus. the driver escaped unhurt. o accept side officials say water service was restored last night. >> paying for parking in san francisco is a breeze compared to price prices in chicago. meter also be charging $6.50 an hour. that's up from $5.75 an hour. >> if you are headed up to tahoe or thinking about it we have information about the roadways. >> that's right. a viewer said that traffic is pretty bad in the tahoe area. chains aren't required on i-80 but the roads are icely in spots and slick. chains are required on all other mountainous roads. brin

took over three years ago and to attend game winner and a top 25 ranking this year. many fell cal would go after mcintyre but they went with sunny dikes instead. mcintyre be coaching against call on a regular basis and trying to turn around colorado is in the middle of a seventh straight losing seasons and has 20 losses the last two years. no word on whether mcintyre will remain at san jose state the next two weeks to coach in a bowl game december 27th against bowling green. >> nasa supersecret space plane will take off today from florida. the exit 37 b vehicle is set to make a third mission this morning. here's the of the space plane returned earlier this year. the first two missions have a crack or break a plan for months at a time. it's a purpose is classified. some think could be testing technology which could someday replace the space shuttle, which was retired last year. what do you do when a family member owes you money? how you get that money while maintaining family relations? it is tough and a big issue. dr. phil will be dealing with that it 10:00. we will be right back. the p
